Every bride and groom wants their wedding ceremony to be meaningful and memorable.
Please contact me, I would cherish the opportunity to help make your wedding as special as it should be.
Whether this is your first marriage or your fourth, whether you are young, or walking down the aisle later in life, you will want a wedding ceremony that reflects you as a couple. Formal, casual, themed or intimate I am confident that I can take you, step-by-step, through this exciting, tender and serious time of your life. You will see from my testimonials, that my clients warm to and appreciate my relaxed and friendly manner.
Many people decide to commit themselves to one another in marriage, and lose in the planning the main and most important reason for the celebration, which is the ceremony itself! The vows they make to one another. The commitment!
I know it can be a daunting task expressing in words the feelings you have for one another, and it is important to create a unique and memorable ceremony that is about you, for you!
If the ceremony, and the vows are significant and uniquely you, like the ring and photos these will be the memories you take with you and keep forever, and in times of stress (and there will be stress) you can reflect on the love and commitment that bound you together!
Following the baptism of their beautiful daughter, Mandy and Serg surprised their family and friends with a wedding on the beach at Port Melbourne.
Sand ceremonies are a wonderful option for outdoor weddings and where couples would like to include children and family members in their ceremony.
Dear Gillian,
I am so sorry it has taken me this long to send you a THANK YOU for making our wedding day the most memorable day of our lives. You brought class, warmth, happiness and love to our ceremony.
When we first met you, you asked us what it was we expected from you. We asked that the guests were to enjoy our ceremony as much as we would. You definitely delivered that and so much more. Everyone including Daniel and myself had a laugh, cry and were completely captivated by your beautiful words and delivery of our vows.
The party afterwards was a lot of fun and also memorable, however the ceremony made our wedding day and there wasn’t a guest that didn’t enjoy it. We received comments like, ‘It was the most beautiful ceremony I had ever witnessed’ and ‘I couldn’t stop crying along with everyone else due to Gillian’s beautiful words’. People to this day have been reminiscing the occasion with us thanks to you. The sand ceremony was another highlight recommended by you, which we now keep on our daughter’s piano and look at every day.
Both Daniel and I felt a connection with you the very first time we met you and we thank you with all our hearts for delivering everything you promised and more.
Thank you once again Gillian and we hope to see you soon.
Sonya & Daniel Llewellyn xoxo
There are many types of rituals to include in your ceremony if you are so inclined! Rituals including the candle lighting ceremony, sand, rose, ring warming, hand fasting ceremony and many more. I am happy to work with you to create a ritual and a ceremony for your special day.
Chadelle and Ronnie were married in a beautiful spot at the Brighton International on a warm summers day. They arrived to a packed house all ready to share their special day. Chadelle was warm and loving and her inner beauty equaled.
Andrea and Connan and their guests all celebrated this very serious ceremony with much colouor and frivolity.
The guests embraced the opportunity to dress up.
Nicci and John were a beautiful couple who were not blessed with perfect weather for their special day, however to look at the photos you wouldn’t know it.
The happiness they share shone brightly through the rain. Congratulations Nicci and John.
Allison and Gadi’s wedding was nothing short of breathtaking.
The car, the flowers, the love between them was something we can all smile about.
Hi Gillian,
I just wanted to drop you an email and say how thrilled I was with the service on Saturday. We all felt it was so personal and light yet had great depth to it – just what we wanted! Everybody thought you were gorgeous and did a fantastic job, so thank you.Yolande and Andreas
I met Geoff and Deb a couple of months ago, they were looking to escape the usual marriage madness indeed they were desperate to elope but as in the case of many families the 10 guests, family and friends, would have been devastated not to be involved. They decided that my home would be just right for the wedding formalities.
Geoff and Deb arrived armed with 10 guests, a photographer and a few bottles of champagne. As I performed their very personal ceremony I couldn’t help but feel that they were part of a much bigger family. There was not a dry eye in the house and so much laughter too. Thank you so much for sharing your special day with me.
After the ceremony the party continued across the road for some beach photos and then on into the city for dinner. I caught up with them the next day, and have founded a lovely friendship.
I would like to share their thoughts…
Hi Gillian,
Well, we arrived home safe and unfortunately back at work and straight into ‘married life’. It’s great! (married life not the work)
Whilst I know that we have thanked you, we both would like to once again thank you so very much for what you did for us, especially making available your home which was way beyond the ‘call of duty’. It certainly made us feel very special and made our wedding day even more so. Everybody thought that the ceremony was wonderful, fairly evident from the not a dry eye in the place, and whilst we had read it many times, it is not until you experience it that you realise how well you had personalised it and made it our own.
Meeting you again on Sunday when we had a chance to talk was also wonderful and I know that Deb really appreciated your thoughts and guidance. We both think that you are a very special person from the moment we first talked to you and nothing has changed since then, if anything, we both feel close to you for what you have done for us and that you are a beautiful person.
Deb and I are so looking forward to our next trip to Melbourne so that hopefully we can all get together for a dinner with a great red – it will definitely be our treat! Remember that you are always welcome in our home at any time.
Hope you had a great time with your daughter and grandchild which must be and have been a great experience for you.
Will definitely send some photos to you once we have received them.
With all our love,
Geoff & Deb xxx
I encourage my couples to write their own vows.
It is my pleasure to guide couples in the writing of vows. As I get to know each couple I get to feel the love between them and understand how and why they are who they are. It is one of the joys of my work.
Hi Gillian,
Paul and I would like to express our deepest thanks to you for making our special day just beautiful! The ceremony went off without hitch and the intro and the vows were fantastic. You wouldn’t believe how many people came up to me at the reception telling me how much they cried throughout the vow reading – everyone found it so moving that we read our own vows!
Your hard work in getting us prepared was great and we can’t thank you enough.
We hope to cross paths with you again one day and I’ll be sure to recommend you to people who are thinking of getting married (which is very few left mind you!).
Kind Regards,
Jess (and Paul)
Dear Gillian,
This is just a small note to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the absolutely beautiful ceremony you provided for us. We both can not express how appreciative we are for all you hard work and the warm atmosphere
which you developed.
If you ever need anyone to vouch for you in regards of a referee or whatever, feel free to give us a call, we will be more than happy to recommend you to any one and every one, as you made it such a neasy and smooth process, and very stressless.
Yet again, we can not stress enough our thanks and appreciation for the beautiful memories you have created for us.
Kind Regards and Fond Memories,
the “New” Mr and Mrs Perfetto
Dino and Joanna Coombs.

Sonya and Daniel had a beautiful ceremony on the wharf at Dockside. The reception was held on the “Sea Melbourne”.
Jodie and Brock chose a candle lighting ceremony at the Botanic Gardens, lucky there was no wind!
Brighton in January and the sun was shining! Melbourne at its best. Ronnie and Chadelle
Tom and Zoe are not twins but cousins born nine days apart. Their progress has been closely watched and they are like chalk and cheese, but like family they are as close as peas in a pod!
